Senator Jeff Merkley (D-Oregon) on why he (and only six other Senators) voted against the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, which is possibly the most blatant attack on the US Constitution this country has ever seen.

The ninety-three senators that voted for this piece of legislation should be removed from office.  This piece of legislation is worse for the American people than anything any terrorist organization could do to us.
